ATHENS, Ga. | Dylan Mclean scored all 11 of his team-high points in the first half as the Alabama A&M University men's basketball team suffered its second loss of the season at Georgia, 93-45, on Tuesday night at Stegeman Coliseum.

Alabama A&M (3-2) enjoyed a small lead early, but Georgia (5-0) used a 17-5 run during a four-minute stretch of the first half and did not look back.

Mclean went 4-of-8 from the floor to finish with 11 points, one rebound, one steal and one blocked shot.
Chad Moodie, who was plagued by foul trouble, added eight points, while
Darius Ford tallied a career-best five steals, four assists and one board.

Asa Newell led four Georgia players in double figures with 17 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals. Silas Demary Jr. scored 10 of his 15 points in the first half and added four assists, four steals and two boards. Tyrin Lawrence chipped in 12 points, six steals, five assists and two boards, while Somto Cyril tallied 11 points, a game-high nine rebounds and three blocks.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Alabama A&M jumped out to an 8-5 lead after a long-range triple by Dylan Mclean with 16:16 remaining
- However, Georgia responded with a 17-5 run over the next four minutes to take a 21-13 lead with 12:04 left after a dunk by Justin Abson
- UGA stretched the lead to 43-21 after free throws by Savo Drezgic with 1:35 remaining
- AAMU got a jumper by Mclean and free throws by Saliou Seye, closing the gap to 43-25 with 39 seconds left
- A Drezgic 3-pointer right before the half, sending Georgia into the break with a 46-25 advantage
- A Blue Cain triple extended Georgia's lead to 69-34 with just under 13 minutes to play
- Alabama A&M could not recover down the stretch in dropping its second consecutive game
