Bilal Abdur-Rahman both finished with 11 points as the Alabama A&M University men's basketball team dropped its sixth straight game with a 92-49 loss to Georgia Tech on Saturday afternoon at McCamish Pavilion.

Alabama A&M (4-9) could not get anything going in the first half, shooting 25.7 percent, as Georgia Tech built a 50-25 lead. The Yellow Jackets (5-7) shot nearly 60 percent from the floor in the opening half and did not look back in getting back into the win column.

Bryant went 4-of-10 from the floor to finish with 11 points, five rebounds and one steal, while Abdur-Rahman chipped in 11 points, including six from the foul line, along with four assists, two boards and one steal.

Lance Terry led four Georgia Tech players in double figures with 22 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal. Javian McCollum added 18 points, two assists, one rebound and one steal, while Jaeden Mustaf tallied 13 points, seven boards, six assists and five steals. Baye Ndogo recorded 10 points, six boards, four assists, three steals and one blocked shot.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Alabama A&M grabbed an early 9-7 advantage after a
London Riley triple with 15:38 remaining. However, the Yellow Jackets answered and took a 16-14 lead after a free throw by Lance Terry with 11:30 left.

The Bulldogs went cold from the floor over the next seven minutes as Georgia Tech, on the heels of a 16-3 run, extended its lead to 32-17 after free throws by Mccollum with just over four minutes to play in the opening half.

Georgia Tech held Alabama A&M to just one field goal over the final 3:48 as the Yellow Jackets used an 18-5 run to close out the first half and take a 50-25 advantage into the break.

The Yellow Jackets quickly extended their lead to 60-26 after a trey by Duncan Powell less than two minutes into the second half.

Alabama A&M could not recover from the huge deficit in dropping its final non-conference game of the season.
