Alabama A&M to Begin Spring Practice on Saturday

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | Football is officially back at Alabama A&M University after four months away as the Bulldogs begin their annual slate of spring practices on Saturday.
 
Alabama A&M begins its path to the 2004 season with 15 practices this spring, with the annual Maroon and White Spring Game scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 6 at Louis Crews Stadium.
 
Connell Mayor returns for his seventh season as the head football coach at Alabama A&M as the Bulldogs went 5-6 overall last season and 3-5 in Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play. Approximately 90 players will be available to compete in the spring.
 
Alabama A&M recently completed a 2023 signing class of 26 student-athletes, including 15 that will be in uniform this spring.
 
The Bulldogs open the 2023 season on the road against Auburn on August 31 at Jordan-Hare Stadium and will play its first home game the following week (Sept. 7) in the Louis Crews Classic against Kentucky State.
