HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University men's basketball team takes its two-game winning streak on the road to face a pair of tough Louisiana Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) programs, starting on Saturday at Southern. Tip-off against the Jaguars is set for 5:30 p.m. from the F.G. Clark Activity Center.
Alabama A&M (5-17 overall, 4-5 SWAC) have won two straight after the Florida Sweep over the weekend. Meanwhile, Southern (13-9, 7-2) is riding a four-game winning streak after falling, 79-62, to Grambling State on Jan. 20.

Alabama A&M made it three straight as the Bulldogs ended Sothern's season in the SWAC Men's Basketball Tournament with a 77-63 win in the quarterfinals.
Messiah Thompson scored 27 points and
Garrett Hicks added 14 as the Bulldogs shot 46.8 percent from the floor and drained seven 3-pointers.
Brion Whitley and Bryson Etienne recorded 18 and 11 points, respectively, as the Jaguars were held to just four 3-pointers and 37.7 percent shooting.
