HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University men's tennis team concluded Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play on Saturday with a 4-0 sweep of Jackson State at the AAMU Tennis Courts.
Alabama A&M (5-8 overall, 5-1 SWAC) won the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and No. 3
The Bulldogs won by default at No. 3 and the team of
Yin Chih Lan and
Chetanna Amadike defeated Alejandro Pimilla and Gokalp Ayar, 6-4.
In singles play, Lan beat Pimilla, 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3, while
Kai Cowcher knocked off Catlos Castillo, 6-3, 6-3. The Bulldogs got a win at No. 6 by default as Alabama A&M won its first SWAC match of the season.
