NEW ORLEANS, La. | Alabama A&M University freshman men's tennis student-athlete Kai Cowcher was selected to the 2024 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Men's Tennis All-Tournament Team, the conference announced on Sunday.
 
Cowcher, who earned SWAC Second-Team honors and received the conference's Co-Player of the Week award on April 3, went 7-6 in singles play this season, including 6-4 at the No. 5 position. In addition, he posted a 7-5 mark in doubles action. The Halstead, England native picked up a 7-5, 6-1 win during the Bulldogs' 4-3 loss to Jackson State in the SWAC semifinals on Saturday.
 
Joining Cowcher on the All-Tournament Team were Federick Pickenstain (Jackson State), Carlos Castillo (Jackson State), David Jeanne Grandinot (Alabama State), Alexandre Verlaguet (Alabama State) and Sam Bajracharya (Alabama State) and Kristofer Johnson (MVP – Alabama State).
