THE HILL | Alabama A&M University head women's tennis coach Willis Mbandi announced the signing of Sebastian Griffiths, Raphael Ankrah, Noah Koffi, Minhoon Lee, and Mihnea Stanciu who will compete for the Bulldog Tennis Program.
Griffith is a transfer coming in from Alcorn State where he competed in 13 matches in the spring season with all matches being in the top flight of the lineup. Griffith was named to Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Second Team for No. 1 singles this past April.
Ankrah joins us after a successful year at Barton Community College where he achieved a National Ranking of 16 in the nation.
Koffi has had a successful junior career competing at the ITF Junior Circuit with a title under his belt and a career high ranking of 890. He is a proud member of the Togo Davis Cup team.
Lee acquired a career high ITF Junior ranking of 760. Son of a 3x Olympic High Jumper.
Mihnea has had a career high Junior ITF ranking of 490 and with numerous second place finishes in J60 events.
