THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University women's soccer team (0-4-0) is set to begin their four-match homestand on Sunday versus the West Georgia Wolves (0-3-0) at 2 p.m. at the Bulldog Soccer Field.
The Bulldogs are returning from a four-match road swing, after one of their best defensive matches so far this season, keeping the North Florida Ospreys to only two goals, not allowing any in the second half on 10 attempts.
West Georgia is coming off a tough 4-0 loss to High Point on Thursday night. Despite starting the night with a strong defense, the Wolves would be able to recover and reorganize after the first Panther goal.
AAMU head coach Prince Borde is looking forward to the first home match of the season. " We are excited to face another resilient team, especially in front of a home crowd", he said. "They are a tough team also looking for their first win of the regular season, so we look forward to this being a good battle."
Sunday's matinee match is free for fans to attend, and live stats can be found here.
