BIRMINGHAM, Ala | Alabama A&M University women's soccer graduate defender Victoria Mealing earned 2024 Preseason Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) honors, the conference announced on Tuesday. 

The Alexandria, Va. native received 2024 All-SWAC First Team honors after helping AAMU into the Conference tournament, and earning a 2023 postseason All-SWAC second-team award. 

During the 2023 campaign, Mealing started all 18 games, tallying eight points and four goals, including two against SWAC opponent Texas Southern in late October. She also tied fifth in the conference in game-winning goals. 

The Bulldogs will begin their 2024 season on August 15 at Memphis at 7 p.m.
