THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University volleyball team (2-8) end their season-long, eight-game road stretch against Middle Tennesse State University (3-8) on Tuesday afternoon at 6 pm at the Alumni Memorial Gym in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The match will be streamed on ESPN+. Live stats will be available here. 

The Bulldogs are returning from the Wildcat Classic where they dropped both matches against the Oral Roberts University Golden Eagles (1-3) and the Abilene Christian University Wildcats (0-3). Both matches were paced by senior Saldy Amparo-Smith, who tallied 35 kills on the day. She dug 17 balls and notched 2 service aces. Freshman Nisaan Martinez found herself as a key player of the first match as the team's second highest scorer with 12 kills and only four errors. Junior Grace Tapscott totaled 35 assists and 11 digs on Thursday, and three service aces, the team high through both matches. 

The Blue Raiders are coming off a pair of losses against Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. The match was highlighted by Laure Jensen reaching a career milestone of 100 aces and 1000 digs in the same match. Between the two matches, Jensen tallied 40 digs and five service aces. The reigning two-time CUSA Freshman of the week Andi Spies recorded her first double-double of the season by recording 40 assists and 13 digs between four sets.  

Tuesday's match will be the fifth time AAMU and MTSU have met on the court, with Middle Tennessee leading the all-time series 4-0. The teams last faced off in Murfreesboro in 2022, where the Blue Raiders claimed the match in straight decisive sets.
