Bulldogs to Welcome Delta Devils for 2025 Homecoming Game

THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University football team is seeking to end a two-game Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) losing streak as the Bulldogs welcome Mississippi Valley State for the 2025 Homecoming game on Saturday at Louis Crews Stadium. Kickoff against the Delta Devils is set for 2 p.m.

Saturday's game will mark the 37th meeting as Alabama A&M has dominated the series, which began in 1971, with a 26-10 all-time record.

Alabama A&M (3-3 overall, 0-2 SWAC) is coming off a 57-24 loss in the Gulf Coast Challenge to then-No. 17 Jackson State, while Mississippi Valley State (0-4, 0-2) was idle last week after initially being scheduled to play Florida A&M. That game has now been moved to Nov. 29.

"We did not play very well last week and we need to get back to playing Alabama A&M football," AAMU head coach Sam Shade said. "Mississippi Valley State is a very good football team and will be coming in hungry and looking for that first win. They lost two games by less than seven points. We are undefeated at home and we want to continue that home winning streak."

The game will air live on SWAC TV as Mo Carter (play-by-play), Stan Becton (analyst) and Shavonne Herndon (sideline) will have the call. Fans can tune into WJAB (90.9 FM) as Maurice Brooks (play-by-play), Thai Floyd (analyst), Evan Hayes (pregame and postgame) and Chauncy Sanders (pregame and postgame) will bring you all the action.
