THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University men's basketball team had six players in double figures and concluded non-conference play on Tuesday with a 90-58 victory over Fisk at the AAMU Event Center.
Koron Davis finished with just one rebound shy of a double-double, recording 14 points and nine boards, along with four assists.
James Graham III added 14 points and four boards.
Bilal Abdur-Rahman,
Lou Hutchinson and
Kintavious Dozier each scored 14 points, while
Gabe Kincy poured in 10 points and four boards.
Simeon Williams II paced Fisk with 11 points, eight boards, three assists and two steals. Nicholas Beaird-Kennard chipped in 10 points, six boards and two assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Alabama A&M (7-6) jumped out to an 8-4 lead after a
Gabe Kincy triple with just over 15 minutes to play in the first half.
Fisk (3-15) trimmed the margin to 10-8 but went cold from the floor as Alabama A&M used an 11-2 run, capped by a
James Graham III bucket to push the advantage to 21-10 with 9:40 remaining.
A Lucious Jackson trey cut the AAMU lead to 24-19 with exactly six minutes left in the half but back came AAMU with baskets from Graham,
PJ Eason, Dozier,
Koron Davis to push the advantage back to double digits, 33-22, with 3:41 remaining.
Alabama A&M got a pair of free throws from Davis with just under two minutes left and took a 35-24 lead into the half.

Tajden Davis three-point play sparked a 7-0 AAMU run, capped by a
Koron Davis one-handed jam, stretching the Alabama A&M lead to 52-33 with 11:46 remaining.
AAMU continued to pull away as Fisk could not recover from the huge deficit.
