BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Alabama A&M University redshirt senior kicker Victor Barbosa earned multiple weekly honors on Monday afternoon.
 
Barbosa was selected the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Specialist of the Week and received STATS Perform FCS Special Teams Player of the Week Honorable Mention.
 
The Hialeah Gardens, Fla. native went 3-for-3 in field goal attempts as Alabama A&M knocked off Tennessee State in the inaugural Legacy Series game, 23-21, on Saturday at Nissan Stadium. Barbosa, who has not missed a field goal since the end of the 2023 season, connected on two field goals of 26 yards in the first half and booted the game-winner, a 45-yarder, late in the third quarter.
 
Alabama A&M returns to action with the final home night game of the season on Saturday against Lane College. Kickoff against the Dragons is set for 6 p.m. from Louis Crews Stadium.
