PEARL, Miss. | The Alabama A&M University baseball team concluded the second day of the MLB HBCU Power Series with a 6-1 loss to Jackson State on Saturday night at Trustmark Park.
The Bulldogs (0-1) were limited to three hits on the night, while the Tigers capitalized on key opportunities and Alabama A&M miscues to secure the victory.
Jackson State (1-1) broke through in the bottom of the second inning. After a leadoff single and advancement on a passed ball and wild pitch, Ledy Alvarez delivered a two-out double to right center to plate the game's first run.
