Alexandra Viera begins her first season as assistant coach on the Alabama A&M University women’s soccer program.
Viera comes to Alabama A&M after servicing as Co-ed Middle School Head Coach at Renaissance Charter School at Hunters Creek in Orlando, Fla. Her duties included directing practice sessions, evaluating individuals, equipment and travel arrangements. She also served as a third grade math teacher at Renaissance Charter.
Viera spent one season as a soccer referee and also worked the FC Barcelona Escola Camp, where she was a youth soccer coach.
Before her coaching career, Viera played collegiately at Trinity Baptist College (2016-17) and was presented the most valuable player award. She served as a guest player on the U20 Peruvian National Team (2016). She spent two seasons at Brewton-Parker, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Studies in 2022.
