Tiffany Whigham enters her first season as the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Alabama A&M University.

Whigham has spent the majority of her career in California, and she has over six years of experience in the volleyball coaching and administrative field.

Whigham spent three years as the assistant volleyball coach at Franklin High school. She was responsible for recruiting athletes, assigning positions, and guiding the athletes' performance while instructing on proper technique. She was also responsible for setting schedules (tryouts, play and practice). Whigham mentored athletes to strive for college while fostering teamwork. During this same time, she served as the Assistant Track and Field Coach at Chavez High School.

In 2002, Whigham joined Coach Rose Powell's volleyball team staff at Martin Methodist College (MMC) as an Administrative Assistant. In addition to assisting with the daily operations of the volleyball team, Whigham aided and assisted in the design, coordination, and on-site management of the first annual RedHawk Volleyball Tournament. She also served as a student liaison for incoming recruits and families for the MMC volleyball team.  

Prior to joining the MMC staff, she served as the assistant volleyball coach at San Joaquin Delta College. During her stint, her team finished the season first in the Northern California Division (23-0), and third in the state (26-2), with three Northern California Regional Team winners and one All-State Team winner. Whigham assisted the head coach in volleyball skill development at the collegiate level and was the tournament director for the annual SJDC Volleyball Tournament.

In 2001, Whigham served as the Administrative Assistant to the Director at Rocket City Volleyball Club in Huntsville, AL. She assisted youth with knowledge of the game of volleyball through skill development, practice and games. She also coordinated and participated in a variety of fundraising activities for youth sports activities.

Whigham graduated from Martin Methodist College in 2004 with a degree in sports management. While there, she was a two-year athlete on the volleyball team. Whigham was named to the TransSouth All-Tournament First Team in 2000.
