Box Score / The Bulldogs extended their win streak to five as they defeated Alabama State last night in Montgomery, Ala. A&M defeated the Hornets in four sets. Clarissa Moore went 18-for-29 for a .586 hitting percentage. Rose Corneille tallied 14 digs to lead the defensive effort. The Bulldogs are back in action on Wed. Oct. 28 at Albany State beginning at 7 p.m.

ASU beat the Bulldogs in the first set, 25-18, but A&M won the following three sets by scores of 25-15, 25-16, and 25-29. As a team, A&M tallied 47 total kills. Courtney Jenkins finished 8-of-13 for a .462 hitting clip, while Karensa Beckford chipped in with seven kills. Natalie Rodriguez assisted on 35 of the Bulldogs' 39 total assists.

For Alabama State, Jessica Holt had eight kills, while libero Roselande Corneille recorded 15 digs. Anna Meinert assisted on 24 of the Hornets' 37 kills.

A&M will play at Albany State on Oct. 29 beginning at 7 p.m.
