On a chilly Sunday afternoon at the Charger tennis courts, Alabama A&M's women's tennis squad got the best of the UAH Chargers 7-2.  The men's action saw the Chargers sweep past the Bulldogs 9-0.

Me'Shala Johnson, Te'lsha Mixon, Jasmine Cherry, and Yemurai Muskwe all recorded singles victories in the match for Alabama A&M, which was the second win of the season for the Bulldogs. 

In men's action, UAH opened its season with a win over crosstown rival Alabama A&M 9-0. The Chargers won all but one set in doubles. Then in singles, Andre Ipince, Kyle Smith and Michael Garcia all won in straight sets, while Andres Buse defeated Stevon Walker 6-3, 6-1, Daniel Canellas beat Evan Brown 6-2, 6-1 and Davyd Fowler knocked off Greg Rogers 6-0, 6-1.
