BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Alabama A&M men's tennis continued its dominant season with a sweeping performance in the SWAC postseason awards, highlighted by head coach Willis Mbandi earning Coach of the Year honors.
The Bulldogs secured four of the league's top individual awards, with Yin Chih Lan being named Player of the Year, Eduardo de Benedictis Andreta earning Freshman of the Year, and Juwan Bae recognized as Newcomer of the Year. Bae also teamed up with Lan to be named Doubles Team of the Year, capping off an impressive campaign for the duo.
Alabama A&M's depth was further showcased across the All-SWAC teams, with six Bulldogs earning First Team singles honors at every position. Arnav Pathange was named First Team at No. 1 singles, followed by Yin Chih Lan at No. 2 and Tasso Moreira at No. 3. Juwan Bae earned First Team honors at No. 4, while Eduardo de Benedictis Andreta secured the top spot at No. 5. Rounding out the list, Goran Krivokapic was selected to the First Team at No. 6 singles.
