The Bulldogs Tennis team found the path at the SWAC East vs. West Round-Robin to be very, very tough. The men were able to find only a few bright spots, but weren’t able to sustain any of them long enough to get a win.
For the weekend, the men were downed by Prairie View on day one, then dropped two matches to Southern and Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and the final match of the weekend to Grambling.
Some of the bright spots were the play of Anthony Pickard II in his match against PVAM, the #1 doubles team of Greg Rogers/Evan Brown who got a really strong win against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and the singles play of freshman Evan Brown at #2 singles.
The Bulldogs are back in action at home on Sunday, March 8 at 1 p.m., playing host to the Tigers of Tennessee State.
