NORMAL, AL - The Lady Bulldogs volleyball team collected another SWAC victory, to remain undefeated, over Jackson State University 25-15, 25-21, 25-22 on Dig Pink night. Alabama A&M, the reigning back-to-back-to-back SWAC champions, improves to 7-8 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
Sophomore Clarissa Moore led A&M with 14 kills. Junior Karensa Beckford added 13 along with three digs, and three solo blocks on the evening. Senior Rose Corneille recorded a game high 24 digs.
A&M will return to action when they host Alcorn State in their third straight home contest. Elmore Gymnasium will serve as the venue on Tuesday, October 12th . Game time is slated for 6:00 pm.
