NORMAL – The Maroon & White men’s basketball team will host the Martin Methodist College Redhawks on Saturday, December 4, at 7 p.m. in Elmore Gymnasium.
In their last contest A&M (2-2) was defeated 50-76 to the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Saturday after Thanksgiving. Cornelius Hester paced the Bulldogs with 15 points.
Hester and guard Casey Cantey lead the team averaging 11.8 points per game. Freshman Jerome Hunter has 32 rebounds in four games and is leading the team averaging 8.0 a contest.
Martin Methodist brings in a perfect record (11-0) after posting their 11-straight win 79-48 over Oakwood University. Leading the Redhawks is Ree McCory with 17.9 points per game.
