THE HILL | Alabama A&M men's basketball assistant coach Cameron Prather has been named to the 2026 Silver Waves Media Top/Most Impactful Mid-Major Assistant Coaches List, recognizing him among the nation's most impactful assistant coaches in college basketball.

Silver Waves Media's annual list recognizes assistant coaches who have made significant contributions to their programs while impacting the development of student-athletes on and off the court. More than 40 coaches recognized on Silver Waves Media lists during the past four years have gone on to earn head coaching opportunities.

Prather's selection continues to highlight the strength of head coach Donte' Jackson's staff and the work being done to elevate the Alabama A&M men's basketball program.

"This is a well-deserved recognition for Coach Prather," Jackson said. "He brings tremendous energy, knowledge and commitment to our program every day. His ability to connect with our student-athletes, help them develop and contribute to what we're building here at Alabama A&M makes him an invaluable part of our staff. We're proud to see him recognized nationally."

Prather has played an integral role in the Bulldogs' continued development under Jackson, contributing in recruiting, player development, game preparation and the day-to-day operation of the program.
