The Alabama A&M women's soccer team scored its first goal of the season at the Racer Classic this weekend. Celeste Roberts scored off the foot of Brittany Joseph in just over 16 minutes into the first match. A&M goalie Linda Aboagye made seven saves in the match against Southeast Missouri and 15 saves against Murray State.

In the second match against the Racers, A&M had just six shots to Murray State's 30. Both teams were stalemate at the end of regulation, however. Murray State's goal at 90:29 gave the Racer's the slight edge for the win.
