NORMAL - The Alabama A&M women's soccer team scored its second goal of the season this past weekend as they participated in the University of Texas at El Paso Invitational. Sophomore Diane Amofao scored her first goal on a penalty kick against UTEP on Sunday in their 12-1 loss. As a team the Maroon & White collected 19 saves in the pair of contests.  Goalie Linda Aboagye posted eight saves in the match against El Paso.  She has totaled 50 saves on the year thus far.

On Friday, September 17, in the first ever meeting between A&M and New Mexico State, the Lobos took an 8-0 win.  Bulldog goalie Jazzmine Maclin, recorded a season high 10 saves in 90 minutes of action for her first recorded loss of the year.  The Huntsville native has 17 saves in two contest played.

A&M returns to action on Monday, September 27, when they host Radford University to a 4 pm contest.
