Dig Pink and Midnight Madness on "The Hill"

NORMAL - The four-time defending SWAC champion Alabama A&M volleyball team will hold their annual Dig Pink event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. The Lady Bulldogs will host conference rival Jackson State University in their first SWAC home contest being held at Elmore Gymnasium at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 14.

A&M (6-15, 1-0 SWAC) is coming off a 3-0 win at Alcorn State University. Karensa Beckford led the Maroon & White with 14 kills while Audrey Harris recorded 23 digs.

Dig Pink is a nation wide campaign in the volleyball world that raises money for breast cancer. This game is very important to head coach Nedra Brown and the current SWAC champions because they want to raise awareness and celebrate survivors of breast cancer.

The Alabama A&M volleyball team is asking everyone to support with monetary donations as well as attendance to tomorrow night’s event.

The game is free and open to the public.
