Lady Bulldogs defeat Alabama State 3-1

MONTGOMERY – The Alabama A&M Lady Bulldogs (7-16, 2-1 SWAC) defeated the Lady Hornets of Alabama State three games to one to earn their seventh win of the season and their second in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

Senior Karensa Beckford totaled a game high 21 kills and 15 digs while junior Clarissa Moore finished the match with 14 kills. Starting setter Ashley Foreman ended her third SWAC contest with 32 assists.

The Maroon & White is currently 2-1 in league play and currently sit second in the Eastern division.

Next up Alabama A&M will play Albany State on Thursday, October 20, at 7 p.m. in Albany, Georgia.
