SWAC Volleyball Championship Game Set

Westwego, La - Alabama A&M is seeking a fifth straight SWAC tournament title. The Lady Bulldogs defeated Southern University in the first semi-finals of the Southwestern Athletic Conference Volleyball tournament, 3-0. The Maroon and White will take on the Tigers of Jackson State today at 3:00 p.m., in Westwego, La.

Alabama A&M is seeking a fifth straight SWAC tournament title. The Lady Bulldogs have won 10 of the last 11 SWAC tournaments. They defeated Jackson State in the 2010 Championship match, leaving the Lady Tigers searching for their first title in the programs history.

Jackson State took a 3-1 win over the Hornets of Alabama State in the other semi-final to advance in the finals.
