NORMAL -- The Alabama A&M volleyball team swept the Devilettes of Mississippi Valley State University on Thursday night in three games.
 
Leslie Ekpe had an impressive performance, going 11-for-15 for a career-best .647 hitting percentage. Karensa Beckford had 13 kills to lead the Lady Bulldogs. Fellow teammate Clarissa Moore recorded eight kills. Ashley Forman had a game high of 31 assists.
 
As a team, the Bulldogs ended with a .308 hitting percentage.  A&M improves to 11-17 overall and 5-2 in the SWAC. MVSU falls to 11-14 on the season, including 2-5 in conference play.
 
Next up the Maroon & White will be on the road but not far as they will take on University of Alabama-Huntsville on November 8, at the Lady Chargers campus.
