NORMAL - The four-time defending SWAC champion Lady Bulldog volleyball team travels to Memphis Tennessee this weekend to open the 2011 season with four matches at the University of Memphis Invitational Tournament.
The Maroon & White will take the court Friday at 12 noon against the host team University of Memphis then at 4 p.m the Nedra Brown led squad will challenge Arkansas-Little Rock. The Lady Bulldogs will then play twice on Saturday, facing Southeast Missouri at 10 a.m. then Georgia State at 2:00 p.m. All four matches will be played at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse.
The University of Memphis will be hosting a live chat for both days of the invitational that will be updated throughout the day with scores and stats.
