A&M Volleyball travels to the Magnolia State

NORMAL -- The Alabama A&M volleyball team will close out its five game road trip in the state of Mississippi. The Lady Bulldogs will take on the Lady Braves of Alcorn State on Monday, October 22^nd at 7 p.m.

The Lady Braves are in last place in the Southwestern Athletic Conference Eastern Division with a 1-19 overall record and 0-4 in conference play, while A&M tops in first with a 5-17 record and 4-1 in the SWAC.

ASU is led by Shaquanda Hollis with 91 kills and Georgia Parsons with 198 assists.

A&M is led by Clairissa Moore who has amassed 265 kills and also leads the SWAC in the same category. Number one in assists is Ashley Forman who has a season high of 633.

The Maroon and White are looking for a season sweep of Alcorn, as they defeated the Purple and Gold 3-0, earlier in the year.

A&M will close out the Mississippi trip against the Devilettes of Mississippi Valley State University on Tuesday, October 23^rd. First volley is set for 7 p.m.
