Women's Volleyball AAMU Sports Info

AAMU Travels to Albany State

NORMAL - Alabama A&M volleyball will head south to Albany, GA on Thursday, Oct. 4, to face Albany State University in a non-conference volleyball match at 6 p.m.
 
The Lady Bulldogs are currently on a three-game winning streak and looking for their first road win of the season. The Maroon and White are 0-7 on the road and currently looking to break that streak.
 
Leading the way for AAMU is senior Clarissa Moore who has 221 kills and is averaging 3.68 per game. Junior Ashley Forman leads the team with 521 assists averaging 8.54 a game.
 
In the blocks category A&M has 6-2 middle blocker Leslie Ekpe averaging .72 a game and has 44 in the year. Freshman Rebecca Cortez leads the team in digs with 168 at the libero position.


Head coach Nedra Brown’s top three players are ranked first in three different categories in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
 
Richardson leads the league in hitting percentage with .295. Moore leads in kills while Forman leads in assists.
