A&M Stumbles with UAB In Volleyball, 3-0

BIRMINGHAM -- The AAMU volleyball team fell to Alabama-Birmingham, 3-0 (14-25, 23-25, 21-25) on Tuesday, night to snap a four game winning streak at the Bartow Arena.

A&M was led by Clairissa Moore's 13 kills as the Lady Bulldogs hit .136 as a team. UAB was held to a .238 attacking percentage in the contest.

Ashley Forman chipped in with her first double-double of the season, recording 27 assists and 17 digs in the loss.

Bianca Richardson rocketed seven kills versus the Blazers and had a very effective three match set in the front row for the Lady Bulldogs.

Alabama A&M drops to 5-16 on the season and are off until next week, when they travel to Jackson, MS., to take on defending SWAC champion Jackson State University on October 16^th.
