Gamecocks to host Bulldogs on Thursday night

NORMAL - The Gamecocks of Jacksonville State University will host Alabama A&M at the Pete Mathews Coliseum on Thursday, November 14^th at 7 p.m.

JSU holds a 7-4 lead in the all-time series and is 6-0 against the Bulldogs in Pete Mathews Coliseum.

Demarquelle Tabb and Brandon Ellis lead AAMU in scoring. Both are averaging double figures in scoring after a pair of games. Tabb averages 11 points per game, while Ellis is just shy of double digit scoring with 9.5 points per contest.

Tabb also leads the team in rebounding with 8.5 per game.

The Bulldogs posted a 1-1 mark with a win over Miles College last Friday and dropped their first road contest of the year on Monday, 98-40 at Iowa State.
