Bulldog Basketball travels to Vanderbilt

Game Notes

NORMAL – The last time Alabama A&M played the Commodores of Vanderbilt University they fell 78-55 in Nashville, Tennessee under legendary head coach Vann Pettaway.

On Saturday, December 15th AAMU will tangle with their neighbors from the Nashville again this time at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Gymnasium on the campus of Vanderbilt University.

A&M (2-5) is coming off a 65-46 loss at the hands of Mercer University last Saturday.  Demarquelle Tabb secured his 11th double double of his career with 12 points and 14 rebounds vs. the Bears.  He leads the team averaging 11.6 points per game and 10.1 boards a contest.  Brandon Ellis averages 10.9 points a game while Jeremy Crutcher rounds out the scorers with 10.4 points a contest.

The Commodores are coming off a 66-64 overtime victory over Xavier University on December 6th.  Kedren Johnson leads the team with 17 points a game while Kyle Fuller averages 13.3 a game.
