Bulldog Volleyball opens 2012 season in Nashville, Tenn.

Normal—Alabama A&M volleyball heads to Nashville, Tennessee this weekend to begin their 2012 campaign.

The team will begin play in the Belmont Invitational volleyball tournament hosted by Belmont University.

Up first for the Lady Bulldogs, is host Belmont on Friday, Aug. 24^th at 6 p.m. Belmont finished last season with a 21-9 record.

After the Bruins, the Maroon and White will face the Horned Frogs of Texas Christian University, who were 25-7 in 2011. Match two will begin 12:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

The final game for A&M will be against the University of North Colorado Bears. The Bears ended last season’s campaign 22-9 and champions of the Big Sky Conference.
