A&M Volleyball Travels to Memphis

NORMAL – The Alabama A&M Lady Bulldog volleyball team travels to Memphis, Tennessee this weekend for three matches in the University of Memphis Invitational Tournament.

The Maroon & White will take the court on Friday, Sept. 14^th at 10 a.m. against the University of Louisiana, then at 4 p.m. the Nedra Brown led squad will challenge the University of Illinois-Chicago.

On Saturday, Sept. 15^th at noon A&M will play tournament host the University of Memphis. All three matches will be played at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse.

The Lady Bulldogs captured their first win after defeating cross-town rival the University of Alabama at Huntsville in three sets 25-16, 25-22, and 25-14.

Clairissa Moore leads the team with 136 kills (3.68 per set). Ashley Forman has recorded a team-high 288 assists in 12 contests.
