White Out Night For Volleyball

NORMAL - Alabama A&M volleyball team (3-14, 3-0) will host the two time defending SWAC volleyball champion Jackson State University at the T.M. Elmore Gymnasium on Thursday, Sept. 10.

It's "White Out Night" on "The Hill" as the Lady Tigers (3-14, 1-0) visit on Thursday evening at 7 p.m.

A&M returns to Elmore where it sports a 1-0 home record this season, including a Mississippi sweep in the conference opener against Alcorn State and Mississippi Valley State.

Jackson State played a tough pre-conference schedule as their first win came against the same opponent AAMU defeated, Alcorn.

The Lady Bulldogs are the SWAC's top offensive team with a .150 hitting percentage. Ashundria McNeal is fifth in the league in hitting at .249 while teammate Kyanna Sales is eight in kills with 102. Leslie Ekpe lead the team with 114 kills and Ashley Foreman is tops in assists with 7.85 per set.

Head coach Nedra Brown is asking that all Alabama A&M fans who come out and support to wear your white.

The contest is free and is open to the public or if you can't make it follow AAMU live by clicking here.
