Women’s soccer ready for two-game weekend

Normal- The Lady Bulldog soccer team has a two-game weekend ahead of them. The games will be split, with one being played at home and the other being on the road.

Up first, the Maroon & White will host East Tennessee State at Lady Bulldog Field. The contest between the Lady Bulldogs and the Buccaneers will kick off at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13^th.

The Johnson City, Tenn. based team is currently 2-3 overall and are led by Emilee Engelhaupt (2 goals-4 points-6 shots) and Sarah Zadrazil (1 goal-2 assists- 4 points- 17 shots)

After facing ETSU, A&M will hit the road and head to Mobile, Ala. to take on the University of South Alabama. The South Alabama Jaguars stand at 5-1-1 prior to entering contests the weekend.

The Sun Belt Conference member has played and defeated two Southwestern Athletic Conference members earlier this season. First defeating Jackson State 5-0 in Troy, Ala., and then defeating Southern 8-0 at home in Mobile.

Action against the Jaguars will take place at The Cage on the campus of USA and will begin at 1:00 p.m. This contest can be followed via live stats.
