Volleyball Travels To Missouri State

NORMAL – The Lady Bulldog volleyball team travels to Springfield, Missouri this weekend for three matches to participate in the Dr. Mary Jo Wynn/University Plaza Invitational hosted by Missouri State.

The Maroon & White will take the court on Friday, Sept. 13 at 4:30 p.m. against the University of Oklahoma.
On Saturday, Sept. 14, at 12:30 the Maroon and White will take on host Missouri State then at 5:30 p.m., the Lady Bulldogs will end the day facing Middle Tennessee State. All three matches will be played at the Hammons Student Center.

On Wednesday night, the University of Alabama in Huntsville took A&M to five sets, however the defense of the Lady Bulldogs wasn't enough to hold off the Lady Chargers three games to two.

Leading the way for A&M was Kyanna Sales with a match high of 19 kills, 14 digs, and two blocks. Pacing the A&M offense was Ashley Foreman with a game high of 51 assists while Savannah Blackiston secured 18 kills. Anchoring the Maroon & White defense was Forman with 17 digs.
