NORMAL – The Lady Bulldogs volleyball team will travel to Nashville, TN to face Tennessee State on Tuesday, September 17. First serve at Kean Hall is set for 6 p.m.
Alabama A&M finished 0-3 in their last tournament at Missouri State. The Maroon and White dropped dropped three matches to Oklahoma, Middle Tennessee State and the host MSU.
Ashley Forman pushes the AAMU attack with 263 assists for a 7.97 per set average. Forman's favorite target has been Kyanna Sales who tops the Bulldogs with 253 attempts. Sales is hitting .142 with 81 kills, while Savannah Blackistone leads the Bulldogs with a .158 hitting percentage with 73 kills in 202 attempts.
Naomi Wells leads TSU with 38 kills and 44.5 points, while Erika Moss averages 9.45 sets per set and notched a total of 104. Four Tigers averaged over two digs per game. Taylor Swayzer (2.55) led the way with 28, just ahead of Wells (2.45) 27, Moss (2.36) 26 and Ileanushka Maldonado (2.00) 22.
