HUNTSTVILLE ---The Alabama A&M volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at home to the Alabama State Lady Hornets in a SWAC East Division matchup.  
 
The Lady Hornets claimed both of the opening sets by scores of 25-16 and 25-13, taking the 2-0 advantage. They would then move on to close-out the match with a 25-15 edge in the third frame, sealing the sweep. 

Inside the Boxscore:
-Ashundria McNeal notched 12 kills and she added eight digs and two blocks.
-Jaelin Gant contributed 6 kills, one service ace and led the Lady Bulldogs with eight digs.
-Riley Balsmeyer led in assists with 22, followed by Nina Biggs and Tamar Davis who each had two apiece.


Up Next...
The Lady Bulldogs are back in action Monday (Nov. 14) in a SWAC doubleheader matchup in T.M. Elmore Gym against Alcorn State. The first serve is set for 3:00 p.m. and the second match is set for 7:00 p.m. The Lady Bulldogs wrap up the regular season at home Tuesday (Nov. 15) for Senior Day against Southern at 6:30 p.m.
