AAMU Volleyball Set to Open Season at ISTAP Collegiate Cup

MONTGOMERY ---The Alabama A&M University volleyball team gets the 2016 season underway as they will travel to Montgomery, Alabama for the ISTAP Collegiate Cup Challenge hosted by Alabama State on August 26-27.

The Lady Bulldogs will be joined by Alabama State, Jackson State, Maryland Eastern Shore, North Carolina A&T, Tennessee State, Texas Southern, and Towson University.

In the two-day, four-match tournament, AAMU will begin tournament action Friday at 10 a.m. against the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and will then take on North Carolina A&T at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, A&M plays Tennessee State at 10 a.m. and will conclude the tournament when they take on Towson University at 4:30 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs will play both 10 a.m. games at the Acadome and the 4:30 p.m. games will be played at the Lockhart Gymnasium.
