TUSCALOOSA—The Alabama A&M men's basketball team will continue its road game schedule as they face No. 25 Alabama on Friday night at the Coleman Coliseum. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m. and will broadcast on the SEC Network+.

Alabama holds a 5-0 record in its all-time series against AAMU. The last time the teams met was on Nov. 23, 2011, when Alabama earned an 82-45 victory.

ABOUT ALABAMA A&M
The Bulldogs enter the contest 0-2, after falling at Samford, 87-68 on Monday. While the 0-2 start is less than ideal, the squad showed significant fight in the loss. AAMU had three players finish in double figures, led by junior Arthur Johnson's 22 points. Sophomore De'Ederick Petty registered 19 points in the contest, while Junior Andre Kennedy was the last Alabama A&M player to finish in double figures with 11 points.

Arthur Johnson leads the Bulldogs scoring and is No. 3 in the SWAC with 17 points per game (ppg) and 7 rebounds per game. He has connected on 48.1 percent (13-of-27) from the field and 50 percent (5-of-10) from beyond the arc. Petty also average doubles figures at 13.5 ppg.

ABOUT ALABAMA
The Tide enters the contest 2-0 after defeating Lipscomb 86-64 on Nov. 14. In the win, Four Crimson Tide players reached double figures led by freshman Collin Sexton's 22 points in his Alabama debut, while John Petty added 14 points, six rebounds and three assists.

Alabama has five players that are averaging double-figure scoring. The Tide is led by Collin Sexton's 22.0 ppg.  Dazon Ingram is averaging 16.5 ppg, while John Petty (12.5 ppg), sophomore Avery Johnson (11.0 ppg) and junior Donta Hall (10.5 ppg) are all averaging double digits for the Tide. Freshman Alex Reese leads Alabama with 9.0 rebounds per game.

NEXT
The Bulldogs will be in action Tuesday at 7 p.m. (CT) as they return to the road to face Minnesota. The game will broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
