A LOOK AT THE BULLDOGS
• AAMU enters tonight's matchup coming off a 104-67 loss at Alabama on Nov. 17.
• Against Alabama, freshman guard Amari Goulbourne paced the Bulldogs with a career high 17 points while sophomore De'Ederick Petty added 12 points. Junior Arthur Johnson and classmate Jalen Reeder each had 10 points, respectively. Sophomore Evan Wiley contributed eight points while Junior Andre Kennedy added six points and three rebounds.
• Arthur Johnson leads the Bulldogs offense with 14.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while Petty is the other A&M scorer in double figures, chipping in 13 points per contest.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN GOPHERS
• Minnesota is 4-0 on the season after a 92-64 victory over Western Carolina Sunday evening.
• In the win, five Gophers scored in double figures. Jordan Murphy led the team with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Amir Coffey had 15 points, Dupress McBrayer scored 14, Nate Mason had 13 and Isaiah Washington score 10.
• All five of the Gophers starters are averaging double-digit scoring.
• The Gophers are ranked 14th nationally in the Associated Press and 15th in the USA Today Coaches Poll. It marks the first time that Minnesota has begun the season as a ranked squad since 2009, when the Gophers were 25th in the AP poll. It is the Gophers highest ranking since 1993-1994, when they were 10th entering the season. The Gophers received votes in each of the preseason polls from 2011-13 and 2015.
