JACKSONVILLE -- After an 11-day layoff, the Lady Bulldogs return to the court Tuesday.

They visit Jacksonville State, the fourth Ohio Valley Conference team A&M has faced this season.

The Lady Bulldogs are 2-1 against the OVC, including a 71-54 win over Murray State in their last outing Dec. 1.

A&M is off to a 4-3 start, the first time since 2011 the Lady Bulldogs have won four non-conference games to open a season.

LAST TIME OUT: Aubriana Bonner was perfect from the field as she led a trio of Lady Bulldogs in double-figure scoring Dec. 1 for a 71-54 win over Murray State.Bonner hit 8-of-8 shots from the field and had a pair of free throws for a game-high 18 points. She also pulled down seven rebounds. Ashlyn Dotson scored 14 points and also had seven rebounds and Natalie Collins had a season-high 11 points.

ABOUT ALABAMA A&M: Ashlyn Dotson is the leading scorer with a 8.6 points-per-game average and Nigeria Jones averages 8.4 ppg. Kanisha Tharpe averages 5.8 rebounds a game to lead the team. Lauren McKee (3.9 assists per game) and Nigeria Jones (3.6 assists per game) are ranked 7th and 8th in the SWAC in that category.

ABOUT JACKSONVILLE STATE: The Gamecocks (5-3) return home after a four-game road swing that ended with a loss at Miami Ohio. However, JSU is 4-1 on its home court where the only loss this season was to nationally ranked Florida State.

ALABAMA A&M vs. JACKSONVILLE STATE: Jacksonville State leads the all-time series 9-2.
