GAMEDAY: Volleyball Hosts Jackson State in Home Opener

THE MATCHUP: Jackson State enters the game 5-1 in SWAC play after defeating Alcorn State on Thursday evening. Camry Dabney recorded a match-high 17 kills and finished with a .222 hitting percentage. Madison Wolf added 10 kills and an impressive .467 hitting percentage.

The Lady Bulldogs are coming into match undefeated in conference play after securing a victory against Alabama State 3-1 on Thursday in Montgomery. They also secured a 3-0 win against Mississippi Valley on Oct. 1. After her stellar performance, Terra Brooks was named SWAC Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 2.

Brooks collected 32 digs as Alabama A&M remained perfect in conference play after wins over Mississippi Valley State and Alcorn State. The 5'10 junior from Tampa, Fla. picked up 12 digs in the Lady Bulldogs' sweep over the Lady Braves and followed that with a 20-dig effort in AAMU's win over the Devilettes. Brooks committed no reception errors or block errors on the defensive end, adding a pair of blocks. Offensively, Brooks made 23 kills while serving three aces and a pair of helpers

Brooks leads the Lady Bulldogs with 216 kills (2.70/set), Megan Evans leads the team with 614 assist and Jaelin Gant leads the way with 205 digs.
