Mens Basketball Falls to Houston, 101-54

HOUSTON, Tex.– In its second road game of the season, the Alabama A&M men's basketball team posted a 101-54 loss Saturday afternoon at H&PE Arena. The Houston Cougars capitalized on a game-high 24 points from Armoni Brooks en route to the victory.

Combined with the likes of guard Corey Davis Jr., who added 22 points to the Cougars' cause, the back-court duo made a combined 11 of the teams 15 three pointers.

Senior forward Andre Kennedy led all Bulldogs with 14 points. Jalen Reeder scored 13 points, shooting 50% (3-6) from the three point line.

Bulldogs shot 40.7% (22-54) from the field while Houston went 37-61 (60.7%) on its home floor. 

A&M will stay in Texas for a Monday night matchup against Rice University. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
