HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Alabama A&M volleyball team faces off against rival Alabama State on Friday, Oct. 18. in Elmore Gymnasium. First serve between the Bulldogs and Hornets is set for 7 p.m.

• Alabama A&M (11-11, 7-1 SWAC) swept Jackson State Monday night for their fourth consecutive conference sweep.
• Senior Terra Brooks led the Lady Bulldogs in kills with eleven, while also adding ten digs for her fifth double-double of the year.
• Junior setter Megan Evans recorded her seventh double-double of the season, finishing with team-highs of 20 assists and 14 digs.
• On the season, Alabama A&M is the SWAC leader in hitting percentage (.231) and kills per set (11.67), while they are second in opponent hitting percentage (.200), assists per set (10.1/set), blocks per set (1.78/set) and digs per set (13.9/set).

• The Hornets come in at (6-17, 3-5 in SWAC) after falling in five sets at Jackson State on Sunday.
• Senior Bayle' Bennett leads the team with 224 total kills, for a 2.77 kill per set average, a mark good for third in the conference.
• Junior E'laisah Young is second in the conference in hitting percentage, with a .340 clip on the year.
• As a team, the Hornets are second in the SWAC with a .170 hitting percentage on the season

Alabama A&M will head back to Jackson, Miss. for the SWAC East Roundup starting on Friday, Oct. 25 where the Bulldogs will face off against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Texas Southern, Grambling, Southern and Prairie View over the weekend.
