BIRMINGHAM — Jordan Bentley continues to collect awards.

The Alabama A&M running back was selected on Tuesday as the BOXTOROW National Player of the Week.

Earlier this week, Bentley was selected as the STATS FCS National Offensive Player of the Week and the Southwestern Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Bentley prominently starred on the field Saturday afternoon as Alabama A&M topped rival Alabama State 43-41 in three overtimes in the Magic City Classic. The 6-foot-1 and 217-pound senior from Guntersville, Ala. Amassed 203 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns.

Bentley rushed for a season-high 197 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught a six-yard touchdown pass and converted a two-point conversion in overtime.
